My story

Who I am
At 18, I moved from Paris to Seoul one-year gap year to study Korean. I'm still here seven years later. Seoul feels like home now.
After graduating from Hongik University, I launched Odubu Design, a one-person design studio, helping companies shape their product from ideation to market launch.
Aside from running Odubu, I also became Mobbin's first Korean app contributor, which led me to become their Community Ambassador for South Korea. I'm dedicated to making Korean design visible globally, bringing that same multicultural perspective to every project I design.
Why Seoul?
"이네스 손이 빠르다"
Korea moves fast. Like, really fast. The "ppalli-ppalli" (hurry) culture defines everything here, and it's a perfect match for me. I've heard "이네스 손이 빠르다" (literally, "Inès has fast hands", meaning I work quickly and efficiently) countless times from professors, design partners, and clients. I thrive in that pace!
There's also a huge appreciation for branding and cute, playful design here which I love. Paris felt too corporate and serious. I'm not, and Seoul isn't either!
How I work
I don't hand off designs and disappear.
I work closely with clients' development, product, and QA teams throughout the entire process, from ideation to launch. When there's no in-house team, I partner with developers and collaborate with them from day 1. It means smoother handoffs, less back-and-forth, and products that genuinely work the way they're designed.
I'm always learning and experimenting with new tools. Lately, I've been using Figma MCP, Cursor and Claude Code to optimize and build end-to-end user experiences and push the boundaries of what's possible.

- Started digital drawing at 2 years old (see pic in the header)
- My first designs were made in Keynote / Powerpoint
- Designing since I was 10 with Photoshop
- Love making things with my hands (I'm also an illustrator!)
- Tamagotchi and Animal Crossing kid — still addicted
- I miss Pictochat... if you know, you know
- I'm fluent in French, English and Korean

My first mobile game, My Tiny Room, reached 30K+ players in first year across Google Play and the App Store.
2025
Dragonfly hit Product Hunt Top 10 and placed 2nd on Uneed Daily.
2025
My portfolio got featured on Wall of Portfolios.
2025
I became Mobbin's first Community Ambassador for South Korea. So far, I've contributed Zigzag, Baemin, Coupang, Coupang Play, and [can't tell yet!].
